finnCap is a British investment bank based in London that uses a wide range of expertise across multiple sectors, shaping their clients’ company and products into an effective investment story.
finnCap came to us looking for an SEO campaign that would create, develop and grow keyword rankings for their sector and services areas. The metrics for the campaign’s success were to increase traffic and enquiries via organic traffic.
Initially, we conducted some competitor analysis and keyword research. This helped us to form some onsite content recommendations as the first stage of the SEO campaign. We created and supported the finnCap team in creating copy that targeted new high-volume and long-tail keywords for the launch of newer pages that we created, on topics including Corporate Finance and Private Fundraising.
The second stage focused on offsite link-building, adding domain authority to the website while creating opportunities for them to get their message in front of their target audiences.
The third stage involved technical SEO support and guidance. Initially, this started with an audit of what their website did currently, and then we created some suggestions to improve the user journey and lead generation process on the website.
Each of these stages worked together to help us achieve results that aligned with finnCap’s business objectives and, as a result, a number of very positive improvements have been achieved for a range of finnCap’s target keywords such as corporate broking and related terms.
Thanks to the work on conversion rate optimisation (CRO), the number of organic enquiries increased by 37% in 2019, with a 21% increase in organic traffic to services pages in the same period.
